Everyone want's to live in they're dream home; a detached house in good area, at countryside driving distance from a shop, in a jugend-style apartment with high ceilings or a loft-flat. And of course a summer cottage by a lake. What happens to human psyche if the dream ends in eviction or a fire? Or if self-built lifetime-project cottage never seems to get complete. As the climate changes even us fortunate one's of the mankind can't afford to choose our living style just as we please.

Installation is made out of left-over wood from the national housing fair, seen in the background

Jack To The Sound of The Underground

Pictures of installation

2007,Helsinki beside metro tracks, Installation, fluorescent spary on black plywood, blacklights, 1,5x260x1m

Using a private car in the cities is mad!

By walking, biking, and travelling with public transport one becomes a part of living city and can observe the dynamics that keep city alive and interesting.

In this work the artist creates an animation in the spirit of old flip book animation. Several pictures will be attached to the sheltering fence beside metro tracks so that a passenger can see the animation through the window while the train passes by the pictures.
